How to choose Metal Ore Crushing Equipment?

Mobile Crushing Station

The mobile crushing station is generally integrated with feeding, crushing and conveying. The walking adopts crawler or tire type, and the position can be adjusted at any time in the stope with the movement of the working surface.

The most typical feature of the mobile crushing station is that it is not connected to the ground without a concrete foundation. It has the function of walking and moves closely with the movement of the working face. The more important feature is that the excavator is directly loaded to the crusher without the need for car transportation. Thereby reducing production costs. However, the working conditions are harsh and require a minimum working platform width of 100m.

Stationary crushing station

The fixed crushing station has a permanent concrete foundation, and its position remains unchanged throughout the service life of the open-pit mine. It is generally installed outside the stope and has a long service life. This type of crushing station is suitable for mines with relatively stable transport distances, and is rarely used in deep concave open-pit mines.

The most typical feature of the fixed crushing station is that the crusher is installed on the concrete foundation and has a solid connection with the ground. It does not have the function of walking itself, and it does not move. It has the same life as the mine. It is usually arranged outside the stope boundary, not affected by the advancement and extension of stope steps, or arranged in the crushing workshop of the concentrator.
